Christmas Trees...

Here is crafty project #1...button Christmas trees. Erin & I made these Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday - & look...they're done!

2 cones, 4 bags of buttons, 8 containers of pins, 3 seperate trips to the store, & hours later...here's the finished product...

Can you guess who's is who's?

LOVE these!! Kelly and I wanted to make them last year and said we would collect buttons throughout the year to make them this year and never did. I may just have to go buy the 4 bags...I WILL make one this year :) Love your card below too. I love how you put "so blessed" on it. Good idea. (Mine is done I just left my camera at my parents so I will post it tomorrow)

she lies....we didn't use 4 whole bags of buttons...we bought 4 bags, but really only used 2 full bags and a few from my stash...we did pick through all of the bags to gather the right colors and cutest buttons!

Ahhh yes, the love/hate relationship of the button tree. I think I had to go out three times to finally have all the pins and buttons to complete mine. But I do love it and wish I would have collected throughout the year so I could have added a few more this year ... maybe next year.

And I'm pretty sure the fun colorful one is yours ... see you are fun in every aspect of your life ;). I really like it ... does it have a happy home yet?
