Okay...

Here it is people: I'm going to eat better & go to the gym. Here's my deal: I've planned 5 healthy & delicious dinners for this week & we will cook them. No going out until Friday night. Friday night I will eat fish & veggies. No soda, no ice cream, no going to Starbucks more than once a day. AND, I have also made it a goal this week to go to the gym 3 times. I went tonight - so that's one.

Why the sudden change? Well, there may or may not have been an incident last week with someone's pants being too tight (and they shouldn't be) & (no, I'm not pregnant). So, this someone has decided to start being a little more conscious of meal planning & going to the gym. This person likes being at the gym once he/she is there - but the getting there has been tough lately. So, this person is putting it on her blog so that those of you who are still reading it can ask her about it & she will have to tell you the truth about how her plan is going.

Carrots will now be my friends. Not chocolate. How sad.

I'm off to bed. Hopefully when I'm sleeping I won't notice my tummy is growling... :)

The growling you heard was not from your tummy...alas, methinks it was snoring.

Yeah for you!! I've been up at 5:30 (yes, AM) Monday through Friday, and 7:45 Saturday and going to the gym. And I've been eating better too. Haven't lost much more than a pound over the last three weeks, but I have lost an inch on my waist! Friday night is our "cheat" meal too. You can do it, and you'll feel so good. Besides, you want to be in good shape BEFORE pregnancy wreaks havoc on you body ;)

I'm Bethany's workout partner on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings. :0) Because I've only been doing 3 days a week (Jeff does Monday, Wednesday, Friday so that is why I can't do every day) I get up extra early, out of the house between 5:00 and 5:15 on Thursdays and 7:30 on Saturday to do an extra 1/2 hour of cardio before the hour class. I try to eat good during the day as well. It feels so good! I am on week 5 of this routine and it finally feels like habit. Don't really think twice about it. You can do it!! It's tough to get going but once you do, you'll be glad you did.

It seems like a lot of us have some of the same goals. We're trying to cut down on eating out too. I've always been good about making a menu for the week but I'm not allowing much wiggle room anymore.
As far as working out, well I've been okay about that. A lot better since we got the treadmill and I can't use the weather as an excuse to not go walking. But I've had to be lenient with myself and remember I do have a three-month old who still gets up at night so sometimes it's okay to sleep and not walk.
You can do it! I think we're all in this together! Maybe we should start some sort of accountability/encouragement blog...

I think you should eat healthy and workout, but don't deprive yourself. You're better off giving yourself a little treat or something to work for if you want to keep this plan up...just my 2 cents....this from the girl who is sorely lacking in the workout area...I do eat well....oh, except that it's girl scout cookie time and I did enjoy a couple samoas today....

I love how you are going to only go to Starbucks ONCE a day. Now THAT is dedication to this new plan.
