This week we replaced 75% of the floors in our home. We took out all of the carpet from the hallways, dining room, & living room. We replaced the hallways & dining room with laminate hardwood floors & the living room with a cut-loop Burber. Here is a look at our journey this week (notice the piano in my kitchen - it's still there as I type...).
All new floors are in. We are now just waiting for the final seal of the hardwood & then we can replace the baseboards that Tim painted tonight. When all of the furniture is put back into the dining room, I will present you with photos of the 'final finish'. Stay tuned!

Wow!! It turned out so nice ... I bet it feels like a whole new house. But the problem with "upgrades" like this is it has you wanting to do more .... admit it, it does, doesn't it?
Okay, well maybe not this minute, but once the dust has settled and everything is in it's place. I see you wasted no time getting the coffee table back to you normal OCD-ness ;).
Can't wait to see it in person in a few weeks!!
Looks good! Did you guys do it yourself? I like it.
Oh goodness, so much ambition! We haven't even finished painting the bookshelves that Matt built for us BEFORE Christmas. I'm excited to see the final pics!
Wow, that is a lot of work. Looks really good!
