Nativity (as played out by a 1 1/2 year old)

For Christmas this year, my parents have given Eloise the Little People's Nativity set. That's right...I said this year. My mom sent it early & Eloise really, really wanted to open it so she could play with it leading up to Christmas, so my mom graciously allowed her to do just that. I had nothing to do with it... :D

So last night we were playing with the Nativity, when suddenly a great cloud of heavenly 'sheep?' appeared. The sheep was able to sing like an angel - it was quite remarkable really.

And then, having traveled from afar (really very afar) a dinosaur appeared to pay the Baby a visit. And he didn't bring a gift, but he did bring his ROAR!!.

And it was good.

Ahhh, I love it. It was three years ago on December 1st that I started the 'tradition' of giving E a special gift to kick off a month of celebration. And it was with his Veggie Tales nativity set. I can't believe he was THREE!! How is he SIX?!?! Anyway, it's been so fun ... last year it was a movie and this year his Lego Advent calendar.

Guess who he gave his Veggie Tales nativity set to? Baby Andrea ... because he thought she would have fun with it and he knew Ella was getting one of her own. ((Melt my heart.))

Happy Celebrating ... "Oh come ROAR ye faithful ... " :D

Too cute Jessie. I think Grace may be getting the set from her aunt and uncle. But I think I may be more excited than she is. :)
