Hello? Is anyone still here?

And here we are....almost one full year later. Wow. Unintentional blogging break much?

Instead of trying to recap this past year (ha!), I think I'll just move on. How about a Top Five Wednesday list?! Yes? Great!!

1. Loving my new life planner from Erin Condren. I take it out several times a day, just to tell it that it's pretty & pet it a little bit.

2. Enjoying fresh sheets & a freshly washed quilt to snuggle me & my babies in.

3. Hoping to organize my office a little more in the next few weeks. {And then cross off some To-do's in the planner!! I like where this is going.}

4. Wishing I could fall asleep before 2 AM. Seriously - what's the deal??!

5. Smiling about my kids at school this week. They say the cutest things. I love being a SAHM & a part, part time teacher. Best of both worlds. <3

Well, there you have it. A little peek into my world at the moment. Will I be able to keep up a consistent blogging cycle? We'll see. This somewhat overwhelmed mama makes no such promises these days. I only promise to love, feed, wash, & play with the kiddos these days. So far that's working out. :)

3rd Birthday Party

This past weekend we celebrated my favorite girl turning three. 3!!! How did that happen??!! I'm so very proud of her & the little girl she is becoming. She's so thoughtful, behaves very well {most of the time} :) & is becoming very cuddly. She's expanding her vocabulary daily & has me laughing a good portion of each day. I just absolutely love her to pieces....

This year we had a 'cupcakes & polka dots with Eloise' party. It was Ohhh so fun. We had family & 4 of Eloise's little girlfriends & their families over - what a ball. Here are a few pictures from the event.

37 & 21

A little over 3 years ago, Amanda & I were in a very similar situation to what we are in today. A little over 3 years ago, we were both pregnant with our little girls - & we took a pic to document our bellies. Tonight, we took another pic - except this time it was to document our boys. Amanda is currently 37 weeks preggo & I am as of today, 21 weeks preggo.

Want to know some other useless trivia? We were four months apart with our pregnancies with the girls & we are four months apart pregnant with our boys. How's that for timing??!! (I promise it was unintentional timing). :). It turned out that our girls are only 3 months apart, however, as Miss Sophia made her entrance a week late & Miss Eloise made hers 3 weeks early. Will these boys do the same? Time will tell....(but I'm guessing Miss Amanda really, really hopes not).

20 Weeks

Today I had an ultrasound for my 18 week appointment. During the ultrasound, my doctor confirmed what we had already been told - Mr. Finn is measuring ahead 9 - 10 days. So, because Eloise came 3 weeks early, my doctor decided to make it official & move my due date up to July 19th - which also happens to be Auntie Laura's Birthday. I guess I know what I'm getting her for a preset this year....

Amanda's Baby Shower

My Amanda M Pants is also pregnant. Her baby boy is due March 29th... so this past Sunday we threw a shower to honor her & sweet little Henry Parker. Here are some of the pics & highlights of the event:

You May Already Know This....

...but in case you haven't already heard - I'm pregnant!! With a baby BOY!

What you probably don't already know is that we have a name for him. Finnley Tilson Adams 'Finn' will be arriving sometime in July. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Is Anybody There???!

Hello, again. This is a bit embarrassing - with the over a month gap in my posts this time, I'm not even sure where to begin....

We've been busy? I have fallen off of the blog bandwagon? I still love my blog, but forget about it? Yep, yep, & yeppers. I will really try to keep updating from time to time - as I do love to blog - but apparently I don't take photos anymore. And when I do, I apparently don't blog them anymore. :) Ah well, we do the best we can, right?

Family Photos

Last Monday, {Labor Day} we headed out to a grass field & Willamette's campus with our great friends the Mogfords. We took turns taking pictures for each family & got many, many photos of the girls & baby Owen. What FUN it was!

Armed with a balloon bouquet & 2 over sized lollipops, we set off for our first official family photos since Eloise was 3 weeks old. Here's a small sample of how it turned out:

Camp Aunt Jess

A week ago, I whisked my nieces away for a full day & night of 'Camp Aunt Jess'. We hadn't done this before - & now that we have, the girls can't wait to continue the tradition next summer of this camp. :) We packed a lot into our amount of time....we had a trip to Starbucks for a treat (before we hit the road from Vancouver), stopped at McDonald's for happy meals, took a rest, went to Limeberry for yogurt, went to Target for prizes, treats, & decorations (Nellie asked if we could have a 'dinner party'. And at Camp Jess, just about anything goes - except for bad behavior- so we decorated before our meal). After Limeberry, we had craft time, decorated the kitchen/dining room for dinner & then it was pancakes with sprinkles on them with a side of strawberries. After dinner, we played & then had a movie complete with blanket snuggling & popcorn. After the movie, we fell into bed....

The next morning was more eventful than I had hoped for - Mia got sick...so all plans for that day were bagged & we went back up to meet Laura. However, next year, we will finish those plans & add more! Thanks girls for coming to Camp Aunt Jess - it was so fun!! Have a great start of school on Wednesday!

Very abstract, right? :) I uploaded pictures to my computer earlier this week & was surprised when it said 181 photos uploading. I soon discovered that about 100 of those photos looked like variations of the above. Love it.

Belated Update

Do you remember back at the beginning of July, when we had the 4th of July? You do?? GREAT! I have some pics to share from you from then. That's right - I just uploaded them tonight. Sigh.

Here is Eloise getting her first manicure from big cousin Nellie. Adorable. Eloise chose a hot pink color for her fingers & green for her toes. She was very proud.

Eloise holding a sparkler!?!? YIKES! That's right - Daddy wanted her to play with sparklers - so I quietly prayed & worried as they did. :) And guess what? She was just fine.

Maybe I won't wait 48 days until my next post. Maybe I will. I guess we'll all have to wait & see. :)

These past two weeks Eloise has started saying some of the cutest little phrases, like: 'Mine do it' & 'Sit' {this one refers to the window when it's going down}, but the one that takes the cake is 'Doing Mama? Doing?'. Isn't that cute?

Yeah...I thought so too. Two weeks ago. Now, it seems like it's all I hear throughout my day. So, yesterday I thought, I wonder how many times a day she says that? That's right - I kept track. I'm that mom. Guess how many times.

And do I answer her? Yes I do. Because she has to learn what I am doing. Even if it's only answering her questions. :) I answer every time. And most of the time - I don't even use sarcasm. That's love, people.
