...we are currently in the process of finding baby girl names. If our baby does happen to be a 20%er, his name will be Jude Timothy. But as of right now, we are operating on the 80% chance of a girl - we need name suggestions. We have a list going that we pass back & forth & cross out what we don't like from the other. :) So far our list includes:
Keighley
Emma
Madisyn
Ella
Amalie
Delaney
Ainsley
Aveline
Can you help us?!?

I already gave you my list...of your choices I like Ainsley, Keighley, Amelie and Emma the best. Steph said she doesn't care if you use Amelia.
ooh so fun! And I love your boy name! The ones I like are Ella, Emma, and Aveline. So creative! :) Good luck!
Life is too complex, keep it simple. What about Jane, Debbie, or Sue. At least grandparents like me can pronounce these simple names!!!!
you didn't like my suggestion of Tomi? It's a good name.
You asked right? :)
I vote for Emma (although still very popular and I might always tease you that you named your baby name came for "Friends"), Delaney (see the e-mail I sent you this morning ... that is one of "my names" but a middle name, so we're good :) or Ainsley.
I think Ella and Madisyn (however you spell it) are very well loved these days.
And the others I think will bring a life of trouble with proper spelling, saying, etc. In fact I'm not sure how to say two of them, LOL.
I want to know what was on Erin's list ... maybe you should put up Erin and I's and see what gets the highest votes.
And speaking of votes, you should turn this into a poll (i.e. Have Tim make this a poll on your sidebar :)).
What fun!! You'll be so prepared when your second child is a girl. We'll see what Jude wants to name his little sister :).
Well of course I have to say Madisyn is my top pick :) but I've always loved the name Ella too. You are going to hear that some of those names are "used a lot...popular..." but I always said they are popular because they are good names! Don't let the popularity steer you away from them. If YOU like it, use it!!
You know I love you guys, and I will do my best to think of name suggestions for you. However, if you name your child Keighley I will have to call her Princess Prissy-Pants for the rest of her life. That one is just too much! I really hope there is noone named Keighley reading your blog right now...
Smooches!

I'm pretty sure my sister's comment was directed towards me a bit. I'm not really a big fan of popular names because I was always Kelly H. growing up since there was always more than one Kelly around. And you remember the confusion with the 3 Andreas at church. :)
And you know me and the spelling thing. I think getting creative on the spelling opens up a world of issues for the kiddo. I know it's your choice but it's something you're sticking the little one with for life.
You are so brave for asking this since everyone has such a different opinion. My one word of advice is to say the name out loud with your last name. Some of them, like Ella and Emma, might be tough with your last name. Like Graham Munger. We shouldn't have done that and wouldn't have if the name Graham didn't have so much sentimental meaning to us.
I do like Delaney. I think it's very cute. I'm still holding out hope for Jude though. :)
For what it's worth our top girl names were Kendall & Meredith (again sentimental reasons). I tend to be a little more traditional with names wouldn't you say? :)
Ooh, yes Kendall was one of my top picks and Matt said no :( because of a girl in high school.
I'll see what others I can come up with!
You didn't like Cadence, huh? = ) I love Ella and Delaney!
Ha! You all think it matters what you like? Psh!
Ha! Exactly "Dickie"!! It only matters what YOU GUYS think. That is all my comment was meant to say previously. Wasn't directed towards anyone specific :)
Come on Jess, go with Kendall. It's the only way either Andrea or I are going to get one. Matt's not going to change his mind on the name and Mike's not going to change his mind on baby #4. (neither will I but let's blame Mike)
Ooh, I like Delaney! I'm putting my very important vote there.
And I'm with Andrea on avoiding the hard-to-spell names!
Ooh! I like Aveline... somehow it fits you. I love Ainsley too, but only because it's on a tentative list of names for our next girl (50% chance).
I always think Megan is nice! ;) From the school standpoint, Emma is really popular, but cute. I also know a cute girl named Ella...
