Here he is - my friend the hummingbird (or as Nellie calls them, 'gumming birds'). I have their feeder hanging outside my back door & they come and go as they please, all winter long.
This past week, this feeder broke - so we replaced it with a fancy glass one. The 'gumming birds' now think they are eating dinner at The Plaza (it's true, I asked one earlier today & that's what he told me).
Tonight as we were making dinner I was checking on my birds - we had 3 coming and going - Tim saw a magenta colored one...I missed him but have already decided he will be my bird since pink is my favorite color. Isn't magenta a form of pink? If God did make a pink hummingbird, I'm sure it's for me.

Mike's parents have lots of hummingbirds too. It's fun to watch them.
My dad has bird feeders all over their place and gets all sorts of birds visiting. It's amazing to see the bright colors on some of them. So I bet there is a pink hummingbird coming to your house. By the way, I'm impressed Tim knew to call it magenta. :)

Birds are so therapeutic! And a pink one would be ultra-soothing, right? ; ) I love the new Plaza.
