I'm In A Jam...

Seriously.

A few weeks ago, my mother & father-in-law came to visit. While they were here we decided to make jam. I love making jam - but only the freezer kind. The canned jam scares me. I know it shouldn't - but it does. I'm just being honest. Anyhoo, Faith agreed to help make jam one night. Well, one thing lead to another & when all was said and done, we had 21 containers of jam. It's delicious jam & it makes me so happy. Thank you Faith for your help! Here is the jam in all of it's glory: we made blueberry & blueberry/strawberry:

Johnny Jump-Up or Johnny Stand Around?

A few weeks ago, Ella got a Johnny Jump-up, which is all fine & good. Except...that she doesn't know how to use it. She just stands in it & looks around. I've tried bouncing her to show her what to do, but she doesn't care. She's content to just hang out (literally) in it & look at the world around her. So...I've declared the contraption a 'Johnny Stand Around'. :) Here are a few pics of sweet pea in her Johnny Stand Around:

Seattle

This past weekend we went to Seattle. We had a wonderful time in the city & even got to go to Bremerton to visit the newest member of our family! (Sadly, we didn't take ANY pictures of this!?!? Sorry Kim!! I can't believe that...).

The next day, she took a nap on our hotel bed - so I decided to document. Notice her outfit? Later that afternoon, a man asked us if she was a boy. Seriously people? Come on...

5 Months

Okay Kelly, here it is!! Her 5 months elephant photo in one of the adorable onesies you made her for such occasion! :)

Can you believe Eloise is 5 months old already? I can't believe it...but it's true. This little sweetie just keeps getting stronger & more adorable each day. Here are some of the pics from the 5 month photo shoot:

Like how she put her hand on the side of the chair? She did that on her own - that wasn't staged. :) Here are some of the things she's doing this month:

She can now grab her toes & she finds them very interesting
She loves to have 'horsey rides' on your lap while you sing to her
She will sit and read 4 books in a row with you
She lifts her head up when I come in to get her in the morning & smiles at me
She loves playing on her play-mat - but she still won't roll over...
She thinks that anyone that is near her or around should be looking at her. If they don't - she stares them down.
She finds her voice & raspberries like nobody's business
