So Blessed...

We have been so blessed by our family & friends surrounding the arrival of our baby. I was given one of the most precious gifts last week by My Andrea, Erin, & Nicole. They collectively gave me this beautiful necklace along with a very meaningful & sweet card. I love you girls dearly & think about you daily with this necklace around me. Thank you for your thoughfulness. xoxo

Yesterday, Ella had her first coffee date with mommy & mommy's good friend Amy. We went to a new place in town called The French Press. It was great!! We will be back again soon. Ella enjoyed her decaf latte...

Here we are getting ready for an outing...we are getting better & better at this.

The new outfit Grandma gave us - because she didn't have enough cute clothes! :) Ella loved her new summer outfit & mommy loved the ruffle butt shorts.

And this final pic is one of my favorites for several reasons: 1. Eloise almost always has her tongue out - love it! 2. You can see her dimples - she has 3 sets, on her cheeks, knees, & elbows - so cute!! 3. Aunt Laura is trimming her nails, while cousins Nellie & Mia comfort her gently - adorable. 4. This is the dress that Andrea made complete with booties - love it!

One Month Old...

Can you believe it? Eloise is one month old (as of yesterday)!! It seems like she was due just last week, oh wait... :)

My wonderful friend Kelly took pictures of her youngest next to a stuffed dinosaur every month so you could see how much he had grown. I l.o.v.e.d the dinosaur pics & looked forward to them each month. So...being the thoughtful friend she is, she bought Ella an elephant for her monthly pictures. She even made her onesies that she will wear every 3rd month. Thank you Kelly!! Here is the first installment of the 'Ella pics'. :) She doesn't really sit up yet...not for the camera anyway - when the camera isn't out, she sits up, juggles, & even plays the piano... :)

My Andrea's Visit...

Last Thursday, My Andrea came to visit. What a wonderful time we had, playing with Eloise, hanging out, going on outings, & just talking late into the night. Thank you again My Andrea for coming - thank you for all of your advice & help with baby & for always being there for me - I love you dearly!!

A Real Update...

As you may have noticed, Tim has been updating the blog since the arrival of our little princess. Yesterday he told me he would update & if you clicked on the link, you were probably unpleasantly surprised....so I've decided that it's time for me to regain control of my blog. I can't promise to update with pictures daily as Tim was doing, but I will try to post often of our new adventures.

My Andrea is visiting us this weekend & it also happens to be Nellie's 6th birthday today - wow!! I'm sure we will have lots to share from this fun filled weekend. Until then, here are a few new pictures...

Happy 2nd week! Eloise (Day 15 - she has hiccups...again). Jessie calls the noise a cross between spring, a frog, and a duck. ;)

Our Eloise seems to be a bit of an escape artist. No matter how tight the burrito bundle, she manages to first release an arm, then another, and then her legs. Even one of the nurses tried a different bundle technique (one she said she had never seen a baby wiggle out of), and Ella was out in 30 seconds flat, much to the nurse's surprise.

Not but 5 minutes after posting this picture, she escaped again...but not before she was covered in kiss marks.
