Wow! Thank you for all of the comments & a few suggestions on new names in the comments! How fun to read all of them!! Thank you, thank you!
I must not have phrased last nights post very well. What I'm really wanting to know is if YOU have any good girl names. We are looking for suggestions. The names I put on the previous post are only ones we are discussing, I don't think either of us are in love with any of them...so we are hoping for more/different/better options.
So, with this clarification - what do you have for us?! :)
My #1 girl name was Brooklyn, but I also loved Addison, Madelyn, Sydney, and Mike loved Kaitlyn. I'll have to pull out my list from when I was pregnant because I had about 23 girl names and only ONE boy name! = )

Wow, you got a bunch of opinions you didn't want to hear then huh? :)
ReplyDeleteAnother girl name I really like is McKenna. That was going to be Bryson's name if he would have been a girl. I also really like the name Kate. Goodness, girl names are hard because there are so many.

I love Ashley. If I didn't already have a niece named Ashley, I'd use it. Oh, and Anna, Emily, and Katherine (Kate - can't use that one either, my other niece is Katelynn). I'm like Kelly, I love the classic names... no weird spellings.
ReplyDeleteJackie! Name her Jackie! ;)
ReplyDeleteHey there, so I really like the name McKenna too...but I already see you got that suggestion...guess it must be getting popular! :) I also like Samantha, I know it's kinda old sounding but I have always liked the way it sounds...but then obviously I didn't love it enough since we named our daughter Cambria! :) Hehe! Good luck to you! :) -

Hi Jessie! I think Annie Adams would be cute. I can see her already...curly, cute and crafty just like you! I do like the list you posted though...I will have to remember some of those if I ever have a girl! This is your reminder: Lumberjack games tomorrow night at 9:30 up by the gym!!! Hope to see you there!

ReplyDeleteHaha!! Just kidding :). That precious one is already taken.
Jess and I almost picked McKenzie or Taylor. It was on our long time list which was started back in 2000!! But we since have a nephew named Tyler and a nice named Kinzley. Way too close and confusing. You are free to use them.
ReplyDeleteI really like the name Ayla. The only reasons I'm telling you this name are because 1)i'm not pregnant with a girl and 2)my friend has a baby girl named Ayla and I don't think it's appropriate to steal it from one of my friends. :) But you go right ahead, if you'd like. Oh and I also really like the name Lindly (pronounced more like lynlee)
ReplyDeleteok, after reading my first comment, I feel as though I need to clarify...not only am I not pregnant with a girl, but I'm not pregnant at all. Don't get any ideas, people. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm confused, so your pregnant, or not? ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Jess, I'm so happy for you guys having a girl (that's what I want, but I don't get to find out for several more weeks) Joe and I both like the name Lydia but my dog growing up was named lydia so I just can't bring myself to use it. I can just here "mom why did you name me after a DOG?" I can't tell you my other favorites because I am hopeing to get to use one of them ;)
ReplyDeleteI had a lot of suggestions thrown at me this last time. I like McKenna or Brooklyn. I also love the name Olivia but didn't think of that until just the other day.
ReplyDeleteI love the names Brooke, Chloe, Cambria, Kylea, Maddison...Oh I could go on! We're naming our next girl Summer if there is another girl...someday!
